Protection concept for the Swiss coach industry

WE KNOW EACH OTHER – WE HAVE TRUST!

Travelling in buses of private companies is personal! No “stop and go” with additional, unknown guests boarding! The first priority is the safety and well-being of our guests and employees. In summary, these are the central components of the comprehensive protective measures. Basis for these measures form the protection concept of the Federal Council and the Car Tourisme Suisse association, which has been approved by the Bundesamt für Gesundheit (BAG). We thank you for your trust in Robert Saner Car-Reisen AG.

Hygiene

Measures

Disinfectants

  • There are 1-2 disinfectant dispensers per vehicle
  • Customers bring their own disinfectants
  • Emergency supply of hand disinfectant (to be dispensed on demand)

Board toilet

  • A leaflet is attached for the correct use of the toilet
  • The fresh water tank is freshly filled before each journey
  • Disposable dry towels are available
  • lockable rubbish bin is available

Keep distance

Measures

Vehicle load factor

  • Waive full capacity utilization if possible – recommendation: 49-54 seats buses a capacity of 30 to max. 40 guests 30-48 seats buses a capacity of 19 to max. 29 guests 19-29 seats buses a capacity of 10 to max. 18 guests
  • Leaving the row of seats behind the driver’s seat free (seats 1a / 1b)
  • Leave the row of seats behind the tour guide (seats 1c / 1d) (only if tour guide on board)

Attention! An alternative is full occupancy of the vehicle (occupation of all seats) with compulsory wearing of masks for passengers (see point 3 below).

Work with unavoidable distance under 2 meters

Measures

Duty to wear masks / Rules of conduct

  • Compliance with the general rules of conduct of the Bundesamts für Gesundheit BAG
    • wash hands thoroughly (before / after driving)
    • no handshaking
    • cough and sneeze in a handkerchief or crook of one’s arm
    • used handkerchiefs must be disposed of by the passenger in plastic bags (passengers bring their own bags)
    • stay home with fever or cough
  • Duty to wear masks for passengers / travel companions at full capacity (personal responsibility)
  • Regular information from the driver on the obligation to wear a mask / rules of conduct of the BAG
    • One-day trips: morning / evening
    • Multi-day trips: every morning before the start of the trip

Protective gloves

  • Wear gloves when loading and unloading luggage (driver)
  • Wearing gloves when distributing objects (driver / tour guide)
  • Wearing gloves during on-board service (travel escort)

Emergency supplies per vehicle

  • each vehicle is equipped with a protection set (limited emergency stock)
    • clinical thermometer (touchless)
    • Hand disinfectants
    • Disinfection wipes
    • disposable glove
    • Protective masks (hygiene masks only)
    • Roll of small plastic bags

Attention! Compliance with the obligation to wear masks is the express personal responsibility of the individual passenger. As with the obligation to wear seat belts, the driver is only obliged to draw attention to the obligation to wear masks at least before departure. For safety reasons (symptoms of fatigue due to insufficient oxygen) we strongly advise against wearing a protective mask for chauffeurs during the journey!

Cleaning

Measures

Cleaning after/before driving by driver

  • Adherence to the industry / company cleaning regulations
  • additional cleaning / disinfection of all contact points:
    • Handles
    • Supporting surfaces
    • Folding tables
    • Seat backsides
    • Armrests
    • Safety belt
    • (belt buckles and counterpart)
    • seat position adjustment knob
    • Switch (light / ventilation / multimedia)
    • Inner sides of the windows
    • Board toilet

Waste disposal by driver

  • Empty all waste bins regularly (especially when washing your hands)
  • Use of aids (broom, shovel etc.), no direct contact with waste
  • glove wearing
  • Do not compress waste bags (air escapes!)

Attention! In the case of one-day journeys, cleaning during the journey, e.g. during breaks, is neither possible (working and resting time regulations ARV for the driver) nor sensible. In the case of multi-day journeys, cleaning should be carried out every evening if possible. Special cleaning of the seat cushions is not necessary.
